Here we are in Millbrook. What a cute town! I loved it! There were so many good place to take photos. Lisa and Matt are awesome together. They have a great connection and fun together. Lisa just got right into the photos and Matt got right into it with her which leads to great relaxed photos of them being theirselves.Can't wait until there wedding in 2 Saturdays at Cullen Gardens!

Shannon + Craig's Wedding

Saturday, I shot a beautiful wedding in Newcastle and at Parkwood for Shannon and Craig. Shannon and Craig are such a sweet couple, and their wedding day was crystal clear and absolutely perfect, as wedding days should be. Shannon was a lot of fun, while Craig was so happy to be getting married to his beautiful bride. Thanks guys for letting me share your day with you!

Julie + Jeff

Another beautiful wedding! I have to thank Julie's mom for having her daughter call me. I grew up with Karen as my dentist's secretary and even though I switched dentist 10 years ago the rest of family goes there. Karen knew I was a photographer and had her daughter Julie call me for her wedding...so sweet!!!
On Saturday June 16 it was hot out, but that didn't get Julie any less into having her pictures taken. Julie was absolutely gorgeous. Her hair and whole style was beautiful. Julie went with the flow of things and had lots of fun! She had adorable flower girls too! The wedding party was lots of fun and had a great time at Parkwood during photos, despite the need for some beverages. Julie and Jeff are SO in love with each other. They have a lot fun and are just so sweet with each other. There was music at Parkwood being played in the background as a DJ was setting up. Julie and Jeff started dancing, enjoying their day! Nadja + Greg

Last Friday I photographed Nadja and Greg's wedding. Gorgeous weather,gorgeous bride,what more more could you ask for? Before the wedding at Nadja's home, it was pretty laid back as the girls finished getting ready I took some photos of Nadja. The best is when I can take photos amidst the hustle and bustle of things. Getting ready can be some of the best photos. As with the rest of the day, if you can let me capture what is going on around you, the best photos will tell your story. I am still trying to let my couples understand that come wedding day I am not your mom and dad taking photos where you stand and smile at me. This is the chance to capture a story of what is going on. There are moments full of anticipation, nervousness,joy,love and just plain cool silliness. The list goes on, but when you relax and enjoy your day, I can get the best photos.

Ndaja and Greg's photos are taken at one of my fav. spots, Parkwood. I love it, love it, love it!!! The architecture of course speaks for itself, but I love all the different elements to work with. Photo wise it has the best pockets of lighting. Everyone's favourite stairs and archway aren't mine as they are in the full sun this time of year, but when you work with the sun it creates stunning photos!

Leah + Mark Engagement Session

Engagement session sounds cheesy, so I like to call it a photo session. Anyway, they are awesome! What better way to get to know each other with my bride and groom to be. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about it, this is a session of taking photos of the couple as them, before they are married. We go somewhere that suits their style, their taste and what says something about them. This is very important come wedding day, I'm not just a photographer, but someone you know and are use to how I photograph.

With Leah and Mark's, photos we shot here in Tyrone. Leah grew up here and no surprise as many do, she loved it here growing up. I have lived here for 5.5 years and have never taken photos with a couple around here, except at my place. It was so much fun! On the corner is a Blacksmith shop that her Aunt owns. We even took some photos in a the playhouse she grew up playing in. We walked down to the mill which is the oldest running mill around today. Then we were about done and I thought we should take some at the Byam General Store, which are my favourite. Leah and Mark are a sweet and fun couple, which shows in their photos. So,enjoy!

June Weddings

Wow! Does anyone else feel the same, but I can't believe there in only one week left in June. Where does the time go? I know, I know, lots of business work, shooting weddings and portraits, some gardening here and there and oh yes time with my family. I would love to get to the point where i can post some personal photos like family things, parties or my kids. It's neat for you to see my life as I go on and on about how I want to get to know, but in order to do that you have to feel so comfortable with me and what better way then to see glimpses into my life. A picture speaks a thousand words. Well, for now my June weddings will have to do! They were all such beautiful weddings!

At her parents homestead was everything!!! Let me tell you her family was a busy bunch. I was at this location for the engagement session in the fall and there was a piece of property. Now after moving their house, building a garage, a pool, landscaping, they just had to put up a tent and voila, wedding central. It was amazing. Enjoy a glimpse of your photos!
