Last Friday I photographed Nadja and Greg's wedding. Gorgeous weather,gorgeous bride,what more more could you ask for? Before the wedding at Nadja's home, it was pretty laid back as the girls finished getting ready I took some photos of Nadja. The best is when I can take photos amidst the hustle and bustle of things. Getting ready can be some of the best photos. As with the rest of the day, if you can let me capture what is going on around you, the best photos will tell your story. I am still trying to let my couples understand that come wedding day I am not your mom and dad taking photos where you stand and smile at me. This is the chance to capture a story of what is going on. There are moments full of anticipation, nervousness,joy,love and just plain cool silliness. The list goes on, but when you relax and enjoy your day, I can get the best photos.
Ndaja and Greg's photos are taken at one of my fav. spots, Parkwood. I love it, love it, love it!!! The architecture of course speaks for itself, but I love all the different elements to work with. Photo wise it has the best pockets of lighting. Everyone's favourite stairs and archway aren't mine as they are in the full sun this time of year, but when you work with the sun it creates stunning photos!
